At NWA Screenwriters Collective, we are dedicated to nurturing the talents of screenwriters and storytellers in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley. Our mission is to foster a creative community where writers can connect, share resources, and find mentorship opportunities to transform their stories into compelling screenplays.
About Us
There are plenty of people in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley who are either screenwriters or are on their own road to becoming one. The NWA Screenwriters Collective exists to be a resource and gathering space for these individuals.
No matter what level you think you're at in your process, we want to make sure that you know you are supported, listened to, and that you get your screenplays read and evaluated by people you trust.

The NWA Screenwriters Collective meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7pm at The Medium in Springdale, AR.
Even if you're not a screenwriter and just want to be involved and learn more about different aspects of the filmmaking community, come join us!

We strive to offer different resources for our writers.
A piece of our mission at NWA Screenwriters Collective is to empower screenwriters to explore their creativity, connect with one another, and share their unique narratives. To do this, we know that everyone needs different resources. Therefore, we offer these resources to you.
We want to provide everyone with resources beyond our group. This includes our recommendations for books written by industry professionals. Check some of them out here.
