Since age 12, Ana knew film was her future, and that screenwriting the best way to pursue that. Ana has been writing in all forms since she could hold a pen, a member of the Fayetteville High School literary magazine and the National English Honors Society.

Ana began screenwriting in eighth grade, completing her first script for a limited television series her freshman year. From there, the love for screenwriting only mushroomed. Under her pen name, Ana Castel, Ana finished her first feature script her sophomore, and last summer Ana finished her second. The passion is constant and there is never a time without a project in the works.

Ana has thus far done two stints with the prestigious New York Film Academy, most recently attending a screenwriting program at their location in New York City, and accepted into a third stint this summer, for a filmmaking program, in Los Angeles. Ana hopes to eventually attend a well-regarded film school and in the meantime plans to gain as much experience as possible, on set around professionals, and off set with her own writing.
