Carla Nemec, a Springdale native, began her career working in radio and television. She then moved to Los Angeles and had a 35-year career working in the art department on major films like Pirates of the Caribbean, Twister, Terminator II, Constantine, Black Hawk Down and many more.
After retiring, Carla returned to Arkansas and began work on a documentary celebrating seniors. She also founded the “Golden Creatives” art group and now supports local filmmakers and volunteers at the Ozark Media Arts Festival and local film festivals.
Above all, Carla cherishes time with her three daughters and five grandchildren.
