Warner Bros Records (1978–1983)
Fred began his music career in 1978 as a local promotion man for Warner Bros Records,
hitting the ground running by promoting Van Halen’s debut album to Michigan radio stations on his first day. Just a month later, he witnessed the release of an unknown artist's debutsingle—Prince. Over five years with Warner Bros, Fred was instrumental in promoting and developing legendary acts including U2, Prince, Van Halen, Black Sabbath, Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac, Talking Heads, The Pretenders, Bob Marley & The Wailers, and many more.
Virgin Records America (1991–1998)
As Regional Promotion & Marketing Manager based in Austin, Texas, Fred spent seven years driving the careers of iconic artists such as Janet Jackson, Tina Turner, The Rolling Stones, Lenny Kravitz, Smashing Pumpkins, Spice Girls, Blur, Massive Attack, and UB40.
Dreamroom Pictures
Fred is currently a producer with Dreamroom Pictures, working on the upcoming independent horror/thriller film Bando, set to shoot in Fayetteville, AR, in 2025. He is also a creator, collaborator, and producer for Hit Men, a limited rock ‘n’ roll era series currently in development.
